Smart devices are products that can do more than regular electronic devices because they can connect to the internet and sometimes to other devices. They can be controlled or monitored using a phone or computer. Examples include smartwatches, smart TVs, and smart thermostats.

What is the most common electronic device?

The most popular electronic device is the smartphone. In America, more than 85% of the total population owns a smartphone. In Korea, around 94% of the total population owns a smartphone. The majority of the people who live in developed country owns a smartphone, which makes it the most common electronic device.

What is an electronic device that people use every day?

In daily life, people frequently use products like smartphones, laptops, tablets, televisions, digital watches, fitness trackers, microwaves, refrigerators, coffee makers, electric toothbrushes, washing machines, headphones, smartwatches, game consoles, and alarm clocks.

What was the first electrical appliance?

One of the earliest electrical appliances was the electric toaster. In 1893, Crompton & Company of Chelmsford, Essex, introduced the Eclipse, the first electric toaster. This means that electric toasters have been around for over 130 years! Iron, fan, and vacuum cleaner were also some of the early electric appliances.
